Snow Forecast for Saturday (NOAA)

Heavy snow and driving winds are likely in the Central Plains on Saturday. The heaviest accumulations are expected in Eastern Kansas and North-Central Oklahoma with some locations possibly seeing 6-12 inches. Severe thunderstorms will also roll across the South on Saturday. A squall line could bring damaging winds to the region. If discrete thunderstorms can form ahead of the line during the afternoon then a tornado threat may evolve as well.
