TORNADO DAMAGES FLORIDA GOLF RESORT

At least four tornadoes touched down in Central Florida on Thursday. One tornado near Haines City caused damage to the Grenelefe Golf and Tennis resort. More than 25 condos sustained serious damage and at least 5 are now unlivable. The tornado was an E-F1 with estimated winds of 95mph. Residents scrambled to cover roofs and board up windows as rain fell throughout Friday in the area.
